Scripture Is…

Scripture is the inerrant word of God, divinely inspired, and breathed out by His power.

Scripture is Preeminent over all of creation, as the written word of God it holds authority over us as the reader and all of it is applicable to our lives today . As God’s Word, Scripture ought to be the believer’s main source of knowledge that should guide their lives, before social media, news, or any other sources.

Scripture is understood through the discernment of the Holy Spirit. Without the helper the scriptures are prone to being misunderstood and misrepresented by both believer and unbeliever alike

Scripture is to be read and interpreted by the reader in its proper context and its place in the cannon, keeping in mind the time period the words were written and the original intentions of the author. It is the responsibility of the believer to properly exegete Scripture to apply it to ones life.

Scripture is the measuring rod upon which the believer is meant to use to gauge the truth and experiences they encounter in their world and life. Including, but not limited to, the following; pastors, speakers, authors, friends, family, organizations, and influencers.
