Mankind Is…

Mankind is made up entirely of sinful beings in open rebellion of God. Spurning God’s standard of holiness, all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23)

Mankind is incapable of saving ourselves either by works or good deeds and it is our rebellion as fallen creatures and failure to save ourselves that leads to eternal separation from God in our sins in hell. (Isaiah 64:6)

Left to our own devices, fallen humanity will always choose wrong from right, and it is simply the common grace of God that allows humanity to choose right from wrong. (Psalm 81:12, Romans 3:12)

Mankind is offered salvation from their sins, to find freedom in the person of Jesus Christ. Salvation in Christ is offered freely to all who believe, regardless of age, race, gender, and nation. (John 1:12)
